Have you noticed how our cell phones and tablets always seem to lose power? This never happened with the 1990’s Nokia flip phones. Those charges would last for days… As a professional organizer, interior decorator, and business owner, not having a full charge is never an option.
I must be able to access the programs on my iPad and phone at all times. That’s why I carry a fully stocked tech bag in my purse. Don’t worry, my tech bag is small. It literally fits in the palm of my hand, but the benefit it provides is huge. The following items are included in my tech bag. For additional information on the tech items, click on the link to take you to the product on Amazon.
This charger comes in handy when I can not charge a device at a wall or in a car. It’s super convenient and fast. If my phone is running low while I’m on the go, I can simply charge my phone while it’s in my purse. This charger can charge any device which can be charged by a USB cable. The main thing to remember is that your charger must be charged in order to charge your device. I make it a habit to charge my portable battery charger at least every three days. I typically charge it overnight. Easy Peasy!!!
This USB Wall Charger eliminates the need of having to carry multiple wall chargers for various devices. Simply carry one USB Wall charger and the appropriate cables and you’re able to charge all of your devices.
The standard Micro USB Cable can charge many devices from a Kindle Fire to a Samsung to a Blackberry to your camera. This is a must have item in a tech bag.
A car charger is a must for a long day on the road. Don’t wait till your battery is completely empty before you charge it. Feel free to use your long drive to top off your battery.
In the world of over the head and blue tooth headsets, many people have forgotten about the “old fashion” ear buds. These ear buds are small and will not take much room in your bag. They are super convenient and easy to use.
You’ll never know when you will need a blank USB Flash Drive to retrieve a document or photograph from someone. It’s always better to be safe and prepared than not.
7) Double A & Triple A Battery
I keep at least one AA and one AAA battery in my tech bag. I often use the AA battery for my wireless mouse and the AAA battery for my car remote. But, it’s always great having these batteries “just in case.”
8) Apple Lightning to USB Cable
Of course, you can’t use a Micro USB for your Apple Products…. My lightning is a must. Periscope and iTunes can really drain your iPhone’s battery.
As a business owner, I am prepared to take a payment at all times. Even non-professionals can benefit from a Square Credit Card reader. How many times have you needed to take money from a friend, but the friend only had a credit card.
Although I don’t use the Mini USB Cable much, I always keep one with me… I’ve used it in the past to charge my for my portable GPS, blue tooth speaker, and MP3 player. It’s not completely obsolete, so just keep it handy.
You don’t need a fancy bag to carry your tech items in. A simple cosmetic or pencil bag works perfectly. The items in the tech bag are small and compact.
There you have it, my 10 must have items for my tech bag. It definitely makes my busy “on the go” life run smooth and I’m able to stay connected. As a special treat to one of my followers, I’m giving away a complete tech bag. To enter, simply answer one question for a chance to win. There are multiple ways to earn more entries. Multiple entries are not required, but may increase your chance of winning. All entries will be verified. The winner will announced live on Periscope on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm Central. Have fun and good luck!

I love this post! In a side life I’m also a travel blogger, so when I’m out and about I carry a cute little zippered pouch with most of the items you’ve mentioned above plus three extra batteries for my Samsung camera. I pop the pouch into my purse and I’m ready to go!
