As much as I love the beautiful weather in spring, summer is my favorite season. Decorating your home for the summer can be fun and great. Check out these easy ways to transition your home’s decor from spring to summer.
Natural Light
If possible, take advantage of all of the summer’s natural light. Open your doors, windows, and blinds to let the natural light inside. Natural light is a great design element.

Take the Inside Out
Your patio, porch, balcony, or backyard can also use a little makeover. These spaces will be used more during the summer months. Bring the inside out by decorating these spaces. Add colorful pillows, rugs, and accent pieces in these areas.

Updating your pillows is an excellent way to update your home’s summer decor. Use colors and hues that are vibrant and colorful. If you have inserts, you can simply purchase pillow covers. Pillow inserts is an excellent way to be able to change the look of your pillows without having to purchase new pillows.
Introduce Bold Fabrics and Colors
Don’t be afraid to get creative with bold fabrics and colors. The summer is an excellent opportunity to let your creative juices flow. Spring was all about calm and muted hues.
