Pillows
Spring is the perfect time to bring the spring colors in and store your fall colored decor. Bedroom and living room pillows should be rotated often. A very affordable option is the use pillow covers and inserts. Reusing the inserts can save money and space.
Spring Tablescape
Consider updating your dining room or kitchen tablescape. This can be an instant transformation. You may have all items needed in your inventory. Be creative with non traditional items. Last year I used a tea party theme for my tablescape. I placed various light colored tea pots, white plates, and a floral runner on my dining room table. Front Porch Decor
Your front porch sets the tone for the inside of your home. Opt for a fresh door mat, flowers, and/or a floral wreath. This will give the appearance of fresh new season.
New Florals
Add fresh new flowers in various rooms in your home. Don’t feel obligated to purchase expensive flowers from flower boutiques. You can get the same effect from flowers purchased from your grocery store.
Don’t Forget Your Bathroom
Replace your soaps, lotions, and sprays with a lighter scent. You can also consider changing out your dark bathroom towels and mats for a lighter colored set.
Update Your Mantel
Your mantel can be a beautiful focal point in the room. Update your mantel with new spring accents. Don’t be afraid to bring the outside in.
Apothecary and Glass Containers
There is something creative and unique about decorating with apothecary and glass containers. The options are limitless. From flowers to faux eggs to pebbles. These containers are an excellent opportunity to showcase the items inside.
