When you first moved into your home, you may have noticed some of the items lacked your personality. Unless you completely customized your home, it may have came with many builder grade items. These are a list of 6 builder grade items you should replace immediately.
Light Fixtures
Although our light fixtures are considered a necessity due to us needing light to see, our light fixtures can be a piece of beautiful decor. If your builder grade light fixture has a less desirable to look, consider opting for one that reflects your personal style. Instead on the standard big box shops, I recommend visiting your local Lamps Plus store or checking out their inventory on their website. Lamps Plus has more than just Lamps. Their merchandise includes chandeliers, ceiling fans, lamps, lights, and even home decor.
Door Knobs
Typically, builder grade door knobs may not be the exact models as you want. Maybe you want a lock and key for your share guest room. You may also want to match the door knob finish to the finish of the other hardware items in your home. Either way, replacing the door knobs can be a quick and easy upgrade to your home.
