How to Avoid Digital Eye Strain. Phonetic Eyewear Review & Giveaway

August 31, 2015 by Divine Elements of Design 44 Comments

As the only person in my family who doesn’t wear glasses, I’m desperately trying my hardest to maintain that title. Unfortunately, I’m on my computer, my cell phone, or my iPad for at least 10 hours everyday. I’ve always known the prolonged effects weren’t good for my eyes. I did my research and learned about Digital Eye Strain and Computer Vision Syndrome. Basically, our eyes are not designed to sit in front of the computer all day. This is where Phonetic Eyewear can help.

computer

The blue light emitted from our computers can cause damage to our eyes. The coating on the lenses of the Phonetic Eyewear glasses reflect and absorb a portion of the harmful blue lights emitted from our computers and tablets. After discovering Phonetic Eyewear, I knew I had to have them. The Phonetic Eyewear glasses can be used by anyone. You don’t have to “need” glasses to wear these to protect your eyes. They come in various vision options. You can purchase a plain pair, readers, or containing your prescription. They also come in over 30 great frames in fun colors and shapes.dylan-blue_320x320

allison-blue-whiskey_320x320The interior decorator in me fell in love with the Bravo Frame in Burgundy. After receiving my pair, and noticing a difference when wearing them, I reached out to Phonetic Eyewear and asked them to provide a coupon code and giveaway for my followers. One of the best parts about Phonetic was the cost… They are only $49/$59 for plain and $89/$99 for readers or prescriptions. Use coupon code DIVINE for 10% off your purchase. That is awesome. I want you to protect your eyes as well. I’m going to order a second pair to keep in my bedroom to use while on my iPad in bed. I’m considering the Robin Frame in Whiskey or Snow Leopard. So many stylist choices to select. Everyone knows how much fun giveaways are so don’t forget to enter. Visit Phonetic Eyewear to select the frame and design you want to win and enter it in the comment section below. There are multiple ways to receive entries for this giveaway. Don’t feel obligated to do each option. Enter multiple times will just increase your chances of winning. The choice is yours.. :-). The winner will be selected via live broadcast on Periscope on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. CST. Follow us on Periscope at @DivineEleDesign.

Thank you for this review. I feared the fact that I may be told by my eye doctor that my eyes are getting weak. I think a pair of these glasses will buy me a some time before I’m straining to read an eye chart.

I could really use a pair of these glasses. I am either on a computer at work or on a device at home. I’m constantly squinting because of staring at digital screens. I had no idea something like this even existed.
