As a paper planner addict, I love a great haul or subscription box. I was recently able to purchase the much coveted Fancy Plans Home Management Stationary Box from MarQuita of At Home With Quita. I’m already loving this box and I’ve only had mere minutes.
Home Inserts
These home inserts dashboards are so nice. I’m going to use the one with the house as a divider for the home section of my planner. It is vellum with a hint of rose gold on the back. The second insert is designed to identify your family and its mission statement. Since I refer to my home as “Divine Manor” and we built it in 2003, I will include that on the insert. This insert is printed on a pretty linen paper and is very smooth. These items are the perfect start to a productive home management box.
Meal Planning / Home Zone Cleaning
The Meal Planner and Home Zone Cleaning inserts are very popular. I’ve used meal planners in the past, but I have never used one which went into as much detail as this one. This meal planner has a designated spot for all three meals of the day including snacks. The meal planner also includes the weekends. That is perfect for someone who is serious about their meal intake. The back of the meal planner also has a section for shopping by category. This will come in handy when planning trips to the grocery store or ordering online.
The Home Zone Cleaning insert is the first one I’ve even seen like this. It will help you break down your home into zones. I actually prefer that method of cleaning. Long gone are the days of spending every Saturday morning cleaning the entire home. I always recommend cleaning by zones a little each day. Inside of the Home Zone sections, you will find inserts for daily cleaning, monthly cleaning, seasonal cleaning, a family chore chart, cleaning checklist, project planning, and cleaning recipes.
Task Envelope
The task card envelope system is something I am looking forward to. I have seen people rave about task cards and now I am going to check out it. In this box, everything you need to start using task cards are included. Task cards can be used for social media planning, meal planning, chores, and many other important tasks. The box includes a black plastic insert to attach your task cards via shields to. Check out Quita’s video on how to set up your task cards and how to plan with them.
Routines
I categorize this section of inserts as Routines. In the Routines section, you will find the monthly Budget which includes bills, income, and as expense tracker. There are also daily inserts. These are great for planning every aspect of your day. Quita has tons of videos on her YouTube video where she shows how she using these types of inserts for her own personal budget.
I am all about the daily routines. This box includes a detailed daily routine sheet. It is definitely something I will use. I love the section for each day of the week. It also identifies weekly and monthly routines. The back is blank so you create your own routines.
Tabs & Stickers
Additional fold over tabs for your task card or dashboards are included in this box. There are stickers to go on top of your task card. The box also comes with circle and square stickers. These are great to use to check off items in your planner.
I hope you found this review and unboxing of the Fancy Plans Home Management Box helpful. I am going to use the items and do a follow up post and video in a few weeks. If you have the box, please share how you use these inserts. Please feel to share your thoughts and comments below.
